Updating my review because they have really worked out their delivery process. I never have an issue anymore and their food is still fantastic. I always order this when I have people visiting from out of town and they want some authentic New York style pizza.
Day trip to Brooklyn & had to try Angelo's. Let me just say, quality, superior! Handsome guy that took my order was very welcoming. The wait wasn't that long. My kids & I ordered a Philly pie, Penne pasta slice, Mozz sticks & a beef patty. We like to try different things haha...Pie was fresh and hot and the ingredients on the pie, amazing!! Most definitely will be my go to every time I come to visit NY!!
They have my heart with their honey pepperoni slice. The guys are very nice and they also have zeppoles!! A childhood favorite of mine.
The pizza is good, no it's great -- normally I just get regular cheese pizza, but I decided to be adventurous and try a slice of barbecue chicken pizza. It was quite delicious! The crust, the sauce, the cheese, the toppings... It's all wonderful! But honestly I have to say that I say I enjoy the garlic knots as much as the pizza, if not more. I haven't found a pizza place in the DMV yet that has amazing garlic knots, but Angelo's knows how to do it. There was an Italian restaurant in dc, but it's not properly a pizza spot so I'm not really counting it. Anyways, Angelo's does not have much space to dine inside, it's more of a takeout only type joint. But the staff are super friendly and the service has never been a miss. If you live locally, Angelo's is one of many Pizza spots that will not disappoint you. Cheers to New York pizza!

Angelos pizza is finally back and better than I remember. My husband and I stopped by and couldn't decide which slices we wanted because they all looked so good. The spinach Alfredo did not disappoint! The penne vodka slice was amazing and not as heavy as other slices with pasta I've had in the past. The barbecue chicken slice was really tasty too. I can't wait to come back and try their hot plates. Welcome back Angelos!!
Stopped in to the flatbush ave location. We had the spinach alfredo and buffalo chicken slices. They were delicious!!! Best specialty slices I have had in a really long time. We will definitely be back to try some of the other slices that looked really good, too.
